Zhuqing town is a town under the jurisdiction of dege County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and is transformed into Zhuqing township. In 1962, Zhuqing township was set up, and Xieqing township was merged in the same year. In 1966, Zhuqing township was renamed, and commune was changed in the same year, and then returned to the township in 1984. Located in the northwest of the county, 166 km away from the county. The area is 1101.04 square kilometers, with a population of 6765 (2017). The three (Chahe) Deng (KE) road and the MA (nigango) stone (canal) highway are crossing. It has nine village committees, namely, Zhuqing, zadong, Genda, laga, Bashe, fenmu, Xiejing, yongjiding and genlong. Mainly in animal husbandry, mainly yak, sheep, etc. Zhuqing temple is one of the five temples of dege Tusi. in January 2014, with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial People's government, it was agreed that the town of Zhuqing should be cancelled in dege county and Zhuqing town should be established, which shall govern the administrative region of the original Zhuqing Township, and the people's Government of the town shall be stationed in Genda village.
