Xionglong Xixiang

Located in Xinlong County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China, xionglongxi township has nine administrative villages, including Diba village, Gulu village, Hami village, wenbudu village, Kangke village, Yaogu village, bule village, Kalu village and Wali village.

Xionglongxi township is a township mainly composed of Tibetans. The villagers mainly grow wheat, highland barley and other crops for a living.

Xionglongxi township is a township under the jurisdiction of Xinlong County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Xionglongxi township was established in 1957, changed to xionglongxi commune in 1973, restored to xionglongxi Township in 1984, and Bozi township was merged into xionglongxi Township in 1992. Xionglongxi township is located in the middle of the county, 23 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 797.58 square kilometers and has a population of 3524 (2017). It has jurisdiction over five village committees: Diba, Gulu, Hami, Yaogu and Kalu. Xionglongxixiang mainly produces wheat, highland barley and beans. there is a complete set of handcopied copies of Ganzhuer in waqiu temple in xionglongxi township.
