ZhangGu town

ZhangGu Town, subordinate to Danba County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, is the seat of the county government.

General situation of the town

Zhanggutun was set up in the Qing Dynasty. ZhangGu town is located in the middle of the county, with an area of 18.5 square kilometers and a population of 3000. It is connected with Kangding, Daofu, Jinchuan, Xiaojin and other counties by highways. It has jurisdiction over Baiga and Chengguan village committees and ZhangGu Town neighborhood committee.

On December 23, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Ganzi Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in six counties (cities), including Kangding city (cfzm [2019] No. 25): Shuizi No. 1 village, Shuizi No. 2 village, Shuizi No. 3 village, Dama village, changna village, gezong village and Jizong village in shuishuizi Township, zongning village, Erman village and Erduo village in dongnugu Township, and Jiaju No. 3 Village in niega township Foyeyan area, suoduanqiao area of Buke village in geshizha Town, huangtukan area of Songda village in suopo Township, collective barren hills and barren slopes area to the east of dajinchuan river central line of Zake village in Bawang township are under the jurisdiction of ZhangGu town. ZhangGu Town People's government is stationed at No. 7, group 1, Shuizi village 1.

Historical evolution

ZhangGu town was established in 1941;

In 1956, the town was withdrawn and Chengxiang township was established;

Chengguan town was built in 1980;

In 1985, it was restored to Guzhen.

ZhangGu town has mining, repair, transportation, construction, building materials, printing, food processing, brewing based township enterprises. There are provincial mica mine, geological team, forestry bureau and water transportation department.
