Tukou Township
Tukou township is a township under the jurisdiction of Hongyuan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is 74 kilometers away from the county. The former national highway 213 passes through. It has jurisdiction over 1 village committee in Tukou.
On June 8, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province abolished Tukou Township and put its administrative area under the jurisdiction of shujingsi town.
Historical evolution
In 1958, Tukou township was set up as Li county; in 1960, it was assigned to Hongyuan County; in the same year, it merged with Hongyan Township and was still called Tukou township; in 1973, it was changed into a commune; in 1983, it was restored.
