Baozuo Township

Baozuo township is under the jurisdiction of Ruoergai County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is located on both sides of baozuo River in deep mountain gorge. With a total area of 1327.65 square kilometers, the township government is located in erotang, 85km away from the county seat and 3046m above sea level. It borders Dalu Township in Jiuzhaigou County in the East and Brazil Township in the West. It is adjacent to Zhangla District of Songpan County in the south, Maiwa District of Hongyuan County in the north and Qiuji Township in the north. Baozuo river runs through the whole territory from south to north, and the two banks along the river are the main areas for people to live together. With a total population of 3506 (2017), there are 5 villagers' committees and 13 villagers' groups. The grassland area is 1.01 million mu, the forest area is 480000 mu, the forest area is more than 900000 mu, and the cultivated land area is 7437 mu (5499.36 mu).

Climate conditions

Climate conditions: the average annual temperature is 0.3 ℃, and the annual rainfall is 695mm, mostly concentrated in July, August and September. It begins to freeze in the middle of November, and thaws gradually in April of the next year, with frequent hail and frost damage.

Main crops: highland barley, wheat, pea and Hu Dou.

Precious animals and medicinal materials: wild animals include Swertia deer, bear, eared pheasant, rabbit, golden monkey, etc.; rich in Fritillaria, Morchella, mushrooms, wild black fungus and other natural green food.

Travel

Tourist attractions: there are famous "baozuo battle" ruins and "baozuo primeval forest" in the territory. Most of the original forest species are precious Picea purpurea. It is the only well preserved forest of concentrated talent in Aba Prefecture, with great ecosystem research value and convenient transportation. Jiuzhaigou Ruoergai oil road runs through the area, belonging to the Great Jiuzhai Ring Road, with smooth information. It is a good place for leisure, summer vacation and tourism. Tourists are welcome to visit.
