Miyaro town

Miyaro town is located in Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, in the valley of Zagunao, a tributary of Minjiang River, in the south of Zhegu Mountain, 61 km northwest of Lixian County. It covers an area of 665.85 square kilometers, with an average altitude of 2735 meters and an average annual temperature of 6.2 ℃. The town has 7 administrative villages, 14 villager groups and one neighborhood committee, with a total population of 1820 (2017).

On December 18, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Aba Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in 10 counties (cities), including malkang city (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2019] No. 22): Jiabi township was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of miyaro Town, and the people's Government of miyaro town was located at No. 35, miyaro street.
