Zhibao Township

Zhibao township is located in the east of Tongjiang County, 55 kilometers away from the county. It is bounded by longfengchang Township and Yudai township of Wanyuan city in the East, Zhenlong Township and xishen township of Pingchang County in the south, Yuntan Township in the west, singing Township and town in the north. The Township People's government is located in zhibaokou. It covers an area of 72.06 square kilometers. The altitude is 450-1100 meters. The forest coverage rate is 65%. The average annual rainfall is 450 mm. The average temperature is 24 ℃. The frost free period is 270 days.

On May 25, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Zhibao township.

agricultural production

The existing cultivated land is 8490.13 mu, including 5920.4 mu of farmland and 2569.73 mu of land. The economy is dominated by grain, live pigs and labor services, mainly producing rice, corn, sweet potato and rape crops; the breeding industry is dominated by breeding live pigs, cattle, sheep and chickens, with a total annual grain output of 6570 tons, including 800 tons of rape. There are 16500 pigs, 2000 cattle and 15000 sheep in the market every year. In 2004, the GDP was 48.48 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 1147 yuan.

At present, there are 12 village roads, with 145 km of traffic mileage, including a 9.8 km BiaoMei road of Shanzhong grade IV. There are 45 reservoirs (including 3 reservoirs), with water capacity of 456000 cubic meters (the largest changjialiang reservoir, with a capacity of 150000 cubic meters), 25000 meters of earth canals, 18000 meters of standard stone canals (including 13000 meters of Hongyan canal), and 2500 mu of artesian irrigation. The rate of household electricity, tap water, fiber TV and telephone coverage reached 100%, 35% and 55%, respectively.
