LAOCHANG township is located 11 km northeast of Tianquan County, bordered by Renyi and Xiaohe townships and Lushan and Baoxing counties. Yam industry

Erlang Mountain yam is a plant of Dioscorea, the best yam. It is artificially cultivated from Erlang Mountain wild yam.
