Cheling town

Cheling town is a big town in the famous mountainous area of Ya'an City. It is located at the foot of Zonggang mountain, adjacent to Shuanghe Township in the East, Danling County in the south, Xindian town and Jiefang Township in the north, Mengyang town and Qianjin Township in the West. It covers an area of 47.57 square kilometers. It mainly produces tea, grain and oil, sericulture, livestock and poultry, flowers and seedlings, bamboo, edible fungi and other characteristic agricultural products.

On December 11, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Ya'an City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns (cfzm [2019] No. 14): the administrative areas of Liuhe village and Yuntai village in Shuanghe Township were put under the jurisdiction of cheling Town, and the people's Government of cheling town was stationed at No. 64 central street.

The highway network extends in all directions, 17 kilometers away from the urban area, only 12 kilometers away from Chengya expressway, and 9 kilometers away from the district road. With complete water and electricity facilities, Yuxi River enjoys the advantages of gravity irrigation of large-scale water diversion project, including one small reservoir and one hydropower station.
