Caihe township is under the jurisdiction of Qu county, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. Before liberation, it was under the jurisdiction of BAMIAO township. Caihe township was established in 1953, Caihe commune was changed in 1958, and Caihe township was restored in 1984. Since 2000, villages have been merged into townships.
