Zhubei Township

Zhubei township is located in the northern suburb of Dazhu County, about 3km away from the county. National Highway 318, provincial highway 218, Da Yu Expressway and Zhupang road run through the whole area.

Zhubei Township covers an area of 27 square kilometers, with a cultivated area of 17054.99 mu. It governs 7 villages. In 2004, it was rated as "top 30 towns in Dazhou city" by Dazhou Municipal Party committee and government. Introduction to white tower

It was built in 1885. The tower is 33.1 meters high, the base is 1 meter high, and the top is 1.5 meters high. The tower has nine floors, the base and 1-3 floors are of bluestone structure. Each floor has a building and a square observation hole. The pagoda is a regular hexagon with a base side length of 4.5 meters. At the top of the pagoda, there is an arc-shaped stone cave door. The stone plaque on the door is chiseled with the word "Jukui Pavilion". The inner diameter of the bottom layer is 3.9 meters, and the eaves of each layer are tilted outward. the stone eaves on the first floor are engraved with dragon and phoenix patterns and decorated with red, yellow and green colors. Today, five pieces of them have been weathered and fallen off for a long time, and only the Western patterns can be recognized; the eaves on the second floor and above are dark red, still visible. there are wooden floors and stairs on each floor of the tower. Visitors can climb up the spiral stairs to the top to enjoy the scenery of the four fields and the beautiful scenery of the bamboo city.
