Tuanba town

Tuanba town is located in the southeast corner of Dazhu County, Dazhou City, in the middle of Tongluo mountains. Qingshui River and Hunshui River meet at tuanbapu to form the source of Huangtan river. The town has eight administrative villages, 68 villager groups and one neighborhood committee. The total population of the town is 12866 (2017). It covers an area of 48.2 square kilometers. There are 28 government cadres, 9 retired cadres, 678 party members in 13 party branches, including 119 female party members, 559 male party members, 64 under the age of 35 and 243 over the age of 60; among them, there are 587 party members in 8 Rural Party branches and 34 village cadres.

Economic situation

It is a big agricultural town. The territory is rich in mineral resources, bamboo forest area is widely distributed, with an annual output of 120000 tons of Zhongshan Coal Industry Co., Ltd., an annual output of 30000 tons of coal mines (33 zengjiagou coal mine, Wujiahe coal mine, huangnigong coal mine), an annual output of 8 million pieces of shale brick factory (Xuexin shale brick factory), an annual power generation of 1.6 million kilowatt hour hydropower station (Longtan Power Plant), and two prefabrication yards.
