Qibei Township
Qibei township is located in the northeast corner of Xuanhan County, bordering Dajin Town, Kaizhou District, Chongqing in the East and south, Tuhuang town and Sandun Tujia Township in the West and North. It covers an area of 61.01 square kilometers, with an average altitude of 904 meters. The township government is stationed in spicy garden, 640 meters above sea level, 104 kilometers away from the county.
The township governs 7 administrative villages and Jiuding community, including Taiyang, Dashu, huapen, Shanmu, Zhuyuan, Pipa and Sijing, with a total of 42 Village (resident) groups and 7868 people (2017). It is a typical remote, border and mountainous town.
On June 12, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Qibei township.
Historical evolution
It was built in the early Qing Dynasty and set up a township in 1932. In 1940, three townships including Sandun, Qishu and beipai were merged into Sanbei township. In the following year, it was divided into three townships: Qibei township was built in 1949, Qibei commune was changed in 1958, and repainted in 1984. on June 12, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Qibei township.

There are two tea processing enterprises, Jiuding tea company and lvyuanchun tea company, with an annual processing capacity of 200 tons of dry tea and an output value of 15 million yuan. Now, the two brands of "Jiuding" and "lvyuanchun" and the two enterprises interact. Qibei tea is rich in selenium, zinc, bright green soup color and fragrant. It belongs to the top grade of tea ("Jiuding" is a famous trademark in the whole province. "Jiuding Xuemei" and "Jiuding cuiya" series products have won the "Gold Award of the first Sichuan Bashu Food Festival" and "Gold Award of Chengdu World Tea Expo", and "lvyuanchun" series products have won the "ISO9001 international quality system" and "ISO22000 food quality assurance system" System wide certification). Among them, Jiuding tea factory was founded in 1978 with a total investment of 1.5 million yuan. There are more than 10 Jiuding series products. The Jiuding series famous tea produced by Jiuding tea factory is well-known throughout the country. Jiuding Xuemei and Jiuding cuiya also won the "Gold Award of Sichuan first Bashu Food Festival" and "Gold Award of Chengdu World Tea Expo". Another new tea factory "lvyuanchun" series products have been certified by "ISO9001 international quality system" and "ISO22000 food quality and safety system".
