Anyun Township

Anyun township is located in Tongchuan District, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, with an area of 64.5 square kilometers and a population of 11410 (2017). It governs one community and six administrative villages. The altitude of the whole township is 230-930 meters. The mountain range is high in the South and low in the north. The distribution of mussel layer is uniform. It has three mountains, two gullies, four rivers, two ridges, three beams and ten slopes. Because of its unique red pepper, it is known as "the hometown of pepper in East Sichuan".

Anyun township has convenient transportation and unique location advantages. S201 provincial highway passes through Dazhou Tongjiang highway, and g5012 Bazhong Dazhou Expressway passes through. The Tongchuan Anyun interchange is set up in Luohua village. It is only 20 minutes from Anyun township to the main city of the prefecture.

In October 2016, Daye village, Erlong village, Mulong village, foyan village and zhanma village of Anyun Township were listed as "national key rural tourism poverty alleviation villages". Foyan village has been rated as "civilized village" at the municipal level and "four good villages" at the provincial level.

Historical evolution

Anyun township is under the jurisdiction of Tongchuan District, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. Anyun township was established in 1940, changed to Anyun commune in 1958 and restored to Anyun Township in 1984. Originally a township under the jurisdiction of Daxian County, Sichuan Province, it was under the jurisdiction of Tongchuan District, Dazhou city after the zoning adjustment in July 2013. Because of its rich red pepper, it is known as "the hometown of pepper in East Sichuan".

In April 2020, the village level organizational system was adjusted, from 13 administrative villages and 1 community in Anyun township to 6 administrative villages and 1 community.

Fengxiang village and zhanma village were merged to establish zhanma village. The office position is located in the former zhanma village.

Dajian village and foyan village will be merged to establish foyan village. The office position is located in the former foyan village.

Luohua village and Shuidong village will be merged to establish Shuidong village. The office position is located in shuishuidong village.

The Shiren village and Erlong village were merged to establish Erlong village. The former office position is located in Erlong village.

Mulong village and Dahe village will be merged to establish Dahe village. The office position is located in the former Dahe village.

Nanying village and Qihe village will be merged to establish Qihe village. The former office position is located in Qihe village.

Building village and Anyun community will be merged to establish Anyun community, which is a town community. The office position is located in the former Anyun community office position.
