Zhenyu town

Zhenyu town is located 35 kilometers to the west of Yuechi County. The people's Government of Zhenyu is located in youzhaxi. Zhenyu was originally named youzhaxi. In the late Qing Dynasty, it was merged by zhenxichang (now shixichang in shigu township) and Yu'an Chang, or Zhenyu for short.

On December 11, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some townships in Guang'an City (cfzm [2019] No. 16): shigu township was cancelled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Zhenyu Town, which was stationed at No. 57 Xingfu street.

Zhenyu town borders Xiban Township in the East, Pingtan town in the south, Jialing River in the west, Xiguan Township in wusheng County across the river, and Shigui town in Gaoping District of Nanchong City in the north, covering an area of 21.43 square kilometers. It has 12 villagers' committees, 108 villagers' groups and 2 residents' groups, including wadianzi, Xianglushan, dingjiashipan, bangou, datianwan, hujiaqiao, zhongdugou, Qilong temple, Yinjiagou, zhaigongba, longjiahao and youzhaxi.

There are two regular trains passing through the town every day (starting from Yuxi new town to Nanchong Gaoping station at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.). The ticket price is 17 yuan. There are buses running every hour in Yuechi County every day, and the ticket price is 11 yuan. There are buses leading to Yuechi and Nanchong, and Nanchong Chongqing Expressway has been opened to traffic, which can connect Nanchong and Chongqing from Pingtan town. Jialing River can be transported to Chongqing and Nanchong.
