Alayi Township

On September 20, 2001, ALA Yi township was established by merging Yongfu Township and ALA township. It is located in the southwest of Renhe District, Panzhihua City, adjacent to Datian town in the East, Pingdi town in the south, Yongren County in Yunnan Province in the west, Zhongba Township and Zongfa Township in the north.

On May 26, 2020, alayi township was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2020.

Township territory surrounded by mountains, southeast low, northwest high, the highest altitude of 2460 meters, the lowest altitude of 1100 meters. The climate is mild, and the annual average temperature is 15-17 ℃. The township governs six villages, namely, Guanfang, ala, qichala, Yongfu, wangniu and Dazhu, with a total of 43 villager groups, covering an area of 181.75 square kilometers and a forest coverage rate of 74%. The township government is 28 kilometers away from the district government. The total population of the township is 9118 (2017).
