Longjing Street

Longjing street, subordinate to Da'an District, Zigong City, Sichuan Province, is the residence of Da'an district government. It has six communities under its jurisdiction: Heda community, hongtiaodi community, Guanghua community, dashantang community, Huada community and Longjing community.

Location context

It is located in the center of Zigong City, connecting Da'an street in the East, dongxingsi street and Heping Township in the south, Wuxing Street in the west, machongkou street and Fenghuang Township in the north. It covers an area of 2.25 square kilometers and governs four communities: Huada, Guanghua, dashantang and hongtiaodi.

The origin of the name

Longjing Street office was established in November 1953 and renamed Longjing Street office in December 1960.

History of construction

Before March 1950, it belonged to the Sixth District of Zigong, and then it belonged to the third district. In August 1951, ten residential sections were set up, namely: yangjiachong and Heda, Huada, guanghuashan and bamaotang, dahuangtang and mianliujing, hongtiaodi, Taiping, Longjing, hengdianzi, daaokou and Gonghe. In February 1953, it was reorganized into four neighborhood committees of Huada, Taiping, Gonghe and yangjiachong, and Longjing Street office was established in November. In 1954, it was renamed Longjing sub district office; in 1955, it added four neighborhood committees, namely daaokou, hongtiaodi, Longjing and guanghuashan. In January 1957, along with Da'an District, it passed Ziliujing district; in January 1959, daaokou and Gonghe neighborhood committee were transferred to Da'an people's commune; in June 1960, they were transferred to daaokou and Gonghe neighborhood committee; in September 1969, they were renamed Longjing branch and Longjing Street office; in September 1969, they were renamed Longjing Street Reform Committee; in September 1972, they were added to dahuangtang, bamaotang and Heda neighborhood committee; In 1977, the Revolutionary Committee was abolished and renamed Longjing Street office.

Topography and climate

The landform of the street is of Qiandan type, with an elevation difference of 50 meters between the north and the south, and an altitude of 320 (± 30) meters. Guanghua mountain and zhongyun mountain are separated from each other in the northwest, and Renhe road is separated from Daan street. The annual precipitation is 682.3-1214.3 mm, mainly in summer. The annual average temperature is 17.8 ℃. There is no severe cold in winter, no severe heat in summer, four distinct seasons, sufficient rainfall, short spring and autumn, long winter and summer.

There are commercial streets such as Renmin Road, Guanghua Road, Renhe road and Longjing street, professional markets such as big farmer's market, Longjing farmer's market, Heda private city and Longjing auto parts market, and residential districts such as oasis garden, Hongfeng Butterfly Valley, shanlanyuan, zhongyunshan, Renhe Peninsula Liyuan, WanJiaYuan and Renhe Jiayuan.

Population and nationality

At the end of 2017, the total population was 47710, including 910 people aged 80 or above. There are four Miao, four Tujia, three Hui, one Buyi, three Zhuang, one Qiang, two Tibetan, three Zhuang and two Manchu people living in the territory.
