Tan can Village

Tan can township is located in the middle of the main tourist road of "Lianghu road", known as "Jintan can". It is 50km away from Chengdu and 30km away from Jiancheng. It has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages, namely Baifang village, da'e village, Lizi village, Nanyan village, Qinglong village, Shaofang village, Sixi village and Lianghe village, and 74 agricultural production cooperatives, with an area of 28 square kilometers and a total population of 14100 (2017). It is the first batch of new rural construction demonstration villages in Sichuan Province.

On April 1, 2017, Tankang township was entrusted to Chengdu high tech Zone by Jianyang City, Sichuan Province.

In 2006, it was rated as civilized village in Sichuan Province. The village has 10 villager groups, with 2434 mu of arable land, 699 households and 2077 people. The village Party branch has 10 party groups with 54 members. At the end of 2007, the per capita net income of farmers was 6187 yuan, and the family planning rate reached 100%. Around the goal of building the first township of animal husbandry economy in Ziyang City, the pig industry has been rapidly developed. One original breeding farm, three expansion farms, eight pig cooperatives and 510 ecological pig farmers have been built. Tankang Township adheres to the development of pig industry as the starting point, takes the "six party cooperation + insurance" mechanism as the carrier, gives full play to the main role of farmers, and focuses on the development of circular economy, supporting infrastructure, grass-roots organization construction, rural culture cultivation, etc.

The township makes full use of the biogas slurry of pig breeding to develop the planting industry, and vigorously builds the production base of high-quality leek. At present, the planting area of leek in the township reaches 5000 mu, and nearly 20 tons of fresh leek can be transported to large and medium-sized cities such as Chengdu every day. In 2006, the per capita net income of farmers reached 3789 yuan. At the same time, the township regards the team building as the key to accelerate economic development and promote farmers' income, and actively establishes 12 pig cooperatives, Jiuhuang cooperatives, "heibaoshi Li" association, New Rural Construction Association and Citizen Moral Construction Association. Focusing on the two leading industry cooperatives of pig and leek, the industrial party branch has also been established, which has played a positive role in technical services, market development, extension of industry, brand building, etc. New rural construction demonstration highlights such as Nanyan, da'e, Lianghe and Sixi have emerged, which has been identified as the key implementation township of the national "agricultural comprehensive development supporting new rural construction demonstration area" project.

In December 2019, the reply to the "request for instructions on the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns (streets) in 15 districts (cities) and counties including Longquanyi District" of Chengdu City cancelled Hailuo Township and Tankang Township and established Hailuo town. The administrative area of Hailuo town was the administrative area of the former Hailuo Township and Tankang Township, and the people's Government of Hailuo town was stationed at No. 24 Tankang street.
