Tonghe Township

Tonghe township is under the jurisdiction of Jianyang City, Sichuan Province. It was built from January 1953 to July 1992. It was withdrawn and merged into Sanxing town. It was rebuilt in November 1995.

Tonghe township is 40 km east of Jianyang River, 6.5 km west of Hongyuan Township, 5 km east of Pingqiao Township, 16 km north of Baiguo Town, and 7 km south of Sanxing town. With convenient transportation, Jianyang Hongyuan cement road passes through the township, covering an area of 23.6 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages and 91 communities with a total population of 5409 (2017). In 2003, the added value of the township's national product was 29.78 million yuan, the gross industrial and agricultural product was 87.76 million yuan, the fiscal revenue was 800000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 1985 yuan. administrative divisions in December 2019, the reply to the request for instructions on the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns (streets) in 15 districts (cities) and counties, including Longquanyi District, abolished Tonghe Township and Xinxing Township, and put the administrative areas of Tonghe Township and Xinxing Township under the jurisdiction of Sanxing Town, with the people's Government of Sanxing town at No. 10 Longdu road.
