Longmenshan town

Longmenshan town is located in the northern mountainous area of Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province, 38 kilometers away from Pengzhou City. There is a provincial Chengbai highway and a small train (Pengbai railway) leading to the urban area. The whole town covers an area of 384.34 square kilometers, with mountains and towering mountains. The highest altitude of Prince city is 4812 meters, and that of Piedmont Plain is 1073 meters. It is adjacent to Aba Prefecture in the north, Dujiangyan in the west, Shifang City in the East, Xiaoyudong in the South and Longmenshan town in the late Qing Dynasty. Due to the rich mineral resources in the territory, it is named Baoxingchang. Before liberation, a township was set up here, which was named Baoxing township. In 1990, the township was withdrawn to build a town, named Dabao Town, and later renamed Longmenshan town. The town people's government is located in Baishuihe.

On December 23, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of 15 counties (cities, districts) including Longquanyi District in Chengdu (cfzm [2019] No. 24): Xiaoyudong town was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Longmenshan Town, and Longmenshan Town People's government was stationed at No. 331 Fuxing Road.

Geography

Longmenshan town has a pleasant scenery. The scenery is strange and the landscape is beautiful. Jiufengshan and Yinchanggou, the provincial scenic spots, are known as "natural air conditioning" summer resorts by tourists. They have strong, dangerous, beautiful and secluded styles, such as Canyon plank road, Longtan waterfall, rainbow mirage, strange peaks and rocks, primeval forest, sea of clouds and Buddha light, etc.

Longmenshan town is rich in resources. The territory is located in the transition zone of Longmen Mountains, with abundant rainfall, rich products and dense trees. The forest coverage rate is 56%, and the timber volume is 210000 cubic meters. It is rich in precious Chinese medicinal materials and mountain plants, as well as national treasure, giant panda and other rare animals. There are copper, nickel, iron, phosphorus, sand gold, asbestos, graphite, talc, limestone, serpentine, quartz, granite, anthracite, etc.

economic development

Longmenshan town is rich in resources. It is located in the upper reaches of Jianjiang River in Tuojiang River system and Longmenshan fault zone. It has many mountain springs, rapid water flow and large drop. It contains ten thousand kilowatts of water resources. It is the best place to set up small hydropower. In 2008, the town has built 26 small hydropower stations, with a total installed capacity of 10000 kilowatts, ranking in the forefront of the country's towns, known as the town of small hydropower.

Longmenshan town has complete facilities. Every village has a highway, so the traffic is very convenient. Penglong road and Yinbai road are connected here and run through the whole town, connecting 5 villages and 1 community. There are more than 100 shuttle buses between Pengzhou and Chengdu every day. Posts and telecommunications are developing rapidly. Longmenshan town is economically developed. It is a famous leisure and summer resort in the city. Since the implementation of reform and opening up, the people of Longmenshan, who are intelligent, hardworking and full of pioneering spirit, insist on taking economic construction as the center, give full play to the local resource advantages, speed up the pace of prospering the town and enriching the people, and make the economy and various undertakings of the whole town develop rapidly. Tourism

Diamond relic pagoda of Longxing Temple

There are seven ancient pagodas on the 1427 square kilometers of land in Pengzhou City, whose levels are all odd. Many Buddhist images and activities also use odd numbers to express the meaning of quietness, heaven or auspiciousness. Therefore, it is customary to build the pagoda as a single layer, and take level 7 as the standard level, because there is a saying that "saving one's life is better than building level 7 putu". Longxing Temple Pagoda has 17 storeys, which is the most ancient pagoda in China.

Yinchanggou Scenic Spot

Yinchanggou Scenic Spot of Longmen Mountain is located in Pengzhou City, the northern suburb of Chengdu, in the middle of Longmen mountain range, which is the transition from Sichuan basin to Qinghai Tibet Plateau. The main scenic spots are Dalongtan, yincangxia, Xiaolongtan, Zhulian waterfall, LAOYINGYAN, Luohong waterfall, Baizhang waterfall, Changhe plank road, Longkou underground river and primeval forest sea. The scenery of Yinchanggou Scenic Spot in Longmen Mountain is different in four seasons. In spring, the green hills are dripping and the peonies are blooming. In summer, the mountain flowers are brilliant and the climate is cool. In autumn, the sky is clear and the maple leaves are flowing. In winter, the ice curtain and jade pillars are covered with snow. It's really beautiful and unforgettable.

The style of the academy is based on the pure French style. According to relevant records, when the Academy was built, marble, wood and colored glass of the church were all transported from far away. The project was first built in 1895 and completed in 1908. The whole project involved nearly 1000 migrant workers and lasted for 13 years. Today's academy has gone through a hundred years of scrubbing, and is overgrown with weeds and gravel. However, the bell tower, which is set off by the dim buildings and halls, and the magnificent appearance of the buildings similar to Notre Dame, can still see the glory and magnificence of the past.

Danjingshan

Danjingshan has been a famous place for peony viewing since ancient times. Zhaoyuan has no reason. It flourished in Tang Dynasty and lasted from Five Dynasties to Song Dynasty. Luoyang was occupied by Jin Dynasty. Danjingshan is the only famous peony viewing base in China. But it is not only famous for the fall of Zhi and Cao. The most important thing is that danjingpeony is famous for its blooming among the wild cliffs and drooping flowers and leaves.

The largest peony viewing base in Southwest China

Peony is a traditional and precious flower in China. It is the most famous flower in China. Pengzhou Peony Fair is as famous at home and abroad as Luoyang Peony Fair and Heze Peony Fair. It is the largest Peony Ornamental base in Southwest China. In danjingshan and Pengzhou garden of Pengzhou City, every year before and after the Qingming Festival, a large-scale and diverse Pengzhou Peony Flower Fair is held,.

Peony planting in Pengzhou began in the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than one thousand years. Pengzhou peony has its own characteristics. It has many big petals, and its face can be full of size. It is very popular with people because of its beautiful fragrance. Lu You, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, said in his "Tianpeng peony Genealogy": "peony is the first in Zhongzhou, Luoyang is the first, and Tianpeng is the first in Shu.". Du Fu came to see the peony in Tianpeng, but he was stopped by the water in the middle of the journey, so he had to go back and leave the poem "watching peony in Tianpeng blocking the water".

The folk custom of appreciating flowers has been very popular since the Tang Dynasty. When the flowers bloom in spring, the peony garden on Danjing mountain and the ancient flower village at the foot of niuxin mountain are full of tourists, who gather to compete with each other and climb to the top of the mountain. Especially in Huajie (today's Lichun town) in the western suburb of Zhoucheng, a peony appreciation meeting is held every year during the Qingming Festival, where peony flowers are displayed for appreciation. The venue was decorated with lights, singing and dancing.

In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, Pengzhou peony declined due to frequent wars. After liberation, Tianpeng peony regained its vitality. Since 2008, a large number of seedlings have been introduced from Heze of Shandong Province and Luoyang of Henan Province. In 2008, the planting area of peony in the city has reached 390 mu, and the total number of seedlings has exceeded 2 million. In 1985, peony was named "city flower" of Pengzhou after being recommended by the people of the whole city. Pengzhou peony is very rich in varieties. More than 2 million plants are exhibited every year. Among them, there are 64 red flowers such as danjinghong, dayehong, watermelon pulp, zhongshenghong, huolianjindan and pomegranate red; 42 purple flowers such as wuzhouhong, cangzhihong and zhuyinqiu; 28 pink flowers such as sheyaolou, kemanmian, Lupin, binglingzi and taohuahong; 5 white flowers such as baihewoxue; 3 yellow flowers such as taohuangjiaoke sanbian; and 3 green flowers such as doulv (oulv) There are three kinds of blue flowers, such as Chilan, Zhongxin, Fenghou, binglan, etc. Pengzhou has such a variety of peony flowers, which can be called "the hometown of peony". Since 2003, Pengzhou Peony Fair has been upgraded to Chengdu Pengzhou Peony Fair. During the flower festival, there was an endless stream of flower admirers, full of mountains and fields. It's spectacular.

Three peony fairs

Today, there are three large-scale peony fairs in China:

（1） Luoyang Peony Fair

Ouyang Xiu, a poet of the Song Dynasty, wrote in Luoyang Peony record: "Luoyang is the most suitable place for local flowers, especially peony.". This sentence shows that Luoyang's "earth vein" makes peony unique.

Luoyang is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, the west of the Central Plains and the east end of the Loess Plateau. The climate here is mild and the soil is fertile, which is very suitable for peony cultivation. As early as the Sui Dynasty, a large number of peonies were planted in Xiyuan, a royal garden.

Luoyang is an ancient city with a long reputation. More than ten dynasties established their capitals here, and it is known as the ancient capital of nine dynasties. Luoyang Peony began in Sui Dynasty, rose in Tang Dynasty, flourished in Song Dynasty, and continues to this day. Luoyang peony is famous for its variety and colorful. Therefore, there is a famous saying that "Luoyang peony is the best in the world".

Today's Peony Fair has greatly exceeded the previous dynasties in form and content.

Luoyang Peony plants all over the city's streets, parks, factories and mines, institutions, schools, hotels, especially the blooming peony in the flower belt on both sides of Zhongzhou Avenue, which makes Chinese and foreign guests feel the rich atmosphere of "Flower City" as soon as they enter Luoyang.

The main scenic spots are "Wangcheng Park", "Xiyuan Park", "Guose peony Park", "Baima Temple", "Baiyuan" and so on.

There are 2 million ornamental peonies and 460 varieties in the city, including red, yellow, green, purple, pink, white, black and blue. On display here are not only the old varieties from Luoyang, but also the newly bred varieties; not only the domestic rare varieties from Sichuan, Gansu, Anhui and other places, but also the foreign varieties from Japan and other places; in addition, there are some wild peony varieties originated in China and so on.

（2） Heze Peony Fair

Heze is located in the South Bank of the lower Yellow River and the west of Qilu plain, adjacent to shuipoliang mountain.
