Hongyang Street

Hongyang street, located in the urban area of Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu City, was established in July 2004 by withdrawing the original Huayan Town. It is adjacent to Dawan sub district office in the East, MIMU town in the west, Xiangfu town and Xindu District in the south, Xiangyang town and Xinfeng Town in Guanghan City in the north. Covering an area of 13.95 square kilometers, it governs 4 community neighborhood committees and 4 administrative villages, with a total population of 58213 (2010). Located in the seat of the district Party committee and the district government, it is the political, economic and cultural center of the whole region.

In December 2019, Chengdu Municipal People's government decided to abolish Hongyang street.
