Livable Township, which belongs to Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the west of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, bordering Tonggu Town, Huatian town and Shuangquan town in the East, Dingshi town in the south, Tianguan town in the West and Cangling town in the north, with a total area of 153 square kilometers.

In 1924, livable township was established, and in January 1984, livable commune was changed into livable township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of 20853 people lived in Yicheng. As of June 2020, livable township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in group 1 of livable village.

Rice and corn are the main food crops in livable villages, and pig, sheep, cattle and chicken are the main animal husbandry. In 2018, there were 6 industrial enterprises and 20 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in livable township.

History of construction

In 1924, a livable township was established.

In November 1949, Youyang County took over the livable Township and established the Fourth District livable township of Youyang County.

In November 1955, loufang township was abolished and incorporated into livable township.

In October 1950, Donghe township was established from a livable township.

In October 1958, livable township was changed into livable commune.

In January 1984, livable commune was changed into livable township.

In 2001, Donghe township was merged into livable city.
