WanMu town

WanMu Town, which belongs to Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the west of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, bordering heiluo town in Yanhe County of Guizhou Province in the East, Dingshi town in the south, Houping Township in the West and Shasha town in Guizhou Province in the north. It is 57 kilometers away from Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County Government, with a total area of 104 square kilometers.

Before 1949, WanMu town was located in Houping township; in 2018, WanMu town was replaced by WanMu town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Wan Mu town was 23101. As of June 2020, WanMu town has 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of WanMu town is stationed in cunmu village.

The main food crops in WanMu town are corn and rice; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep, cattle and poultry. In 2018, there were 21 industrial enterprises and 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in WanMu town.

History of construction

Before 1949, it belonged to Houping township.

In 1951, guanmu township was set up from Houping Township, which belongs to thirteen districts (houpingba).

In September 1953, guanmu township was divided into guanmu Township and heirex township.
