Zhongzhou Street
Zhongzhou street, located in Zhongxian County, 230 kilometers away from the main city of Chongqing, is located in the east of Chongqing, on the North Bank of the Yangtze River, and in the south of the Yangtze River. It governs 15 communities and 6 villages.
On November 25, 2014, Chongqing municipal government (Yufu No. 81) approved the revocation of Zhongzhou town in Zhongxian County, adjusted the administrative area of Xinsheng town and established Zhongzhou street.
Evolution of organizational system
Zhongzhou has a long history. As early as the Neolithic age, human beings lived, worked and multiplied on this land, created the early Zhongzhou culture, and became an important part of the cradle of the Yangtze River, one of the Chinese civilizations.
Zhongzhou ancient city has more than 2300 years of recorded history, from the Han Dynasty to the present, it has been divided into counties, prefectures, prefectures and counties. Zhongzhou is famous for its outstanding people, such as general bamanzi who "cut off his head and stayed in the city" in the Warring States period, heroic general Yan Yan in the late Han Dynasty and heroine Qin Liangyu in the late Ming Dynasty. All of them are famous loyal officials and good generals, which made Zhongzhou people's word "Zhong" famous in China. Bai Juyi, a poet of Tang Dynasty, once served as an official in Zhongzhou and left many good stories. The construction of Zhongzhou town began in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. In 1981, it was renamed Zhongzhou town. In 1911, Chengxiang was set up; in 1930, it was changed into urban and rural areas; in 1940, it was set up as a town; in 1950, it was changed into Chengguan town; in 1981, it was changed into Zhongzhou town. In 1997, with an area of 48.9 square kilometers and a population of 72000, it has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages including Zhenggong, Hongxing, Beimen, Zhima, Shuangxi, Changhe, Huguo, Longmen, Songbai, Gujing, Majia, Caoxi, jiumang and Tongliang, and 8 neighborhood committees including Yanyan Road, Dongpo Road, Zhouping Road, Beimen Road, Shizi street, Linjiang Road, laodaqiao road and Xishan Road.
Ganjing town is located in the east of Zhongxian County, on the North Bank of the Yangtze River, 9 kilometers away from the county. Provincial roads Zhongxian Dianjiang road and Wanzhong Road pass through. There is yangziyan hydropower station in the county. The nameless que is a cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level. Wellhead and Ganzhong Bazi are Neolithic sites. Huanghua city of Xianchun Prefecture in Song Dynasty is well preserved. Ganxiang was established in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It was renamed Ganjing Township in 1921, changed to commune in 1958, restored to township in 1983, and established a town in 1992. In 1997, with an area of 84.9 square kilometers and a population of 31000, it has jurisdiction over 25 administrative villages including Shima, Tiefeng, Linfeng, kenkou, Bajiao, Sanfu, zaobei, Nanbei, Youxi, Hehua, Gao'an, gantian, duzhu, Baoshi, Sujia, Guojia, Shunxi, Huanghua, Damian, dengshu, Zhongfeng, Fudan, Mopan, Gaotian and Tianshan. It was incorporated into Zhongzhou town in 2006.
Zhongzhou town was formed by the combination of Zhongzhou town and Ganjing town in 2006 when the township administrative division was adjusted. The town government was located in Yanyan Road community of Zhongzhou town.

Famous people
During the Warring States period, BA Manzi, Yan Yan in the late Han Dynasty, Gan Ning in the Three Kingdoms, Qin Liangyu, the heroine of the Ming Dynasty, and other loyal officials and generals made Zhongxian people famous for their loyalty and righteousness. In the Tang Dynasty, Bai Juyi, Li Jifu, Liu Yan and other officials were loyal to Zhongzhou. Li Bai, Du Fu, Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, Lu You and other hackers were also stationed in Zhongzhou.
