Zizhao town

Zizhao Town, subordinate to Liangping District of Chongqing, is located in the east of Liangping District, connecting Jinsheng township of Zhongxian County in the East, Xingfeng Township and guanba town of Zhongxian County in the south, Baijia Town in the West and Shi'an town in the north. It is 38 kilometers away from the residence of Liangping District people's government, with a total area of 35.5 square kilometers.

During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty (February 9, 1796 September 2, 1820), zizhao town was named harziqiu; in 2017, it was changed from zizhao township to zizhao town. By the end of 2018, the population of purple town registered residence was 14509. As of June 2020, zizhao town has one community, three administrative villages and the people's Government of zizhao town is located at No. 1 new street.

History of construction

Qing Jiaqing (February 9, 1796 - September 2, 1820) years, named harziqiu.

In the ninth year of the Republic of China (1920), it was named zizhaochang; in the thirty first year of the Republic of China (1942), zizhao township was established and belonged to the fourth district; in the thirty sixth year of the Republic of China (1947), it belonged to the third district.

In December 1949, it was subordinate to Panlong District.

In March 1953, zizhao township was divided into zizhao Township, Mingan Township and Yunfeng Township, belonging to the second district.

In December 1955, zizhao Township, Mingan Township and Yunfeng Township were merged into zizhao township.

In August 1958, zizhao township was transformed into zizhao commune, which was subordinate to Baijia district.

In March 1966, zizhao commune was renamed Xiangyang commune.

In March 1976, Xiangyang commune was restored to zizhao commune.

In July 1984, zizhao commune was changed into zizhao township.

In 2017, zizhao township was changed into zizhao town.
