Honglu town

Honglu Town, belonging to Yongchuan District of Chongqing, is located in the west of Yongchuan District. It is connected with Qingfeng town in the East, Laisu town in the southeast, Baofeng town and Pilu town in Luxian County in the south, Yongrong town in the west, Rongchang County, Dazu district and Shuangshi town in the North, Shengli road street in the northeast. It is 22 kilometers away from the residence of Yongchuan District People's government, with a total area of 64 square kilometers.

In 1933, the territory of Honglu town was Honglu township; in August 1992, Honglu Township and Xindian Township were merged into Honglu town. As of June 2020, Honglu town has four communities and five administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Hongxin community.

History of construction

In 1933, Honglu town was called Honglu town. In 1935, Honglu township was changed into Honglu Lianbao. In 1940, Honglu Lianbao was incorporated into Xindian township.

In June 1953, Xindian township was established as Honglu township.

In April 1956, Luohan township was merged into Honglu township.

In September 1958, Honglu Township and Xindian Township were merged into Hongxin commune.

In July 195, Hongxin commune was divided into Honglu commune and Xindian commune.

In April 1977, Honglu commune established Hongxing commune.

In 1983, Honglu commune was withdrawn and Honglu township was restored.

In August 1992, Honglu Township and Xindian Township merged into Honglu town.
