Longtanzi sub district office evolved from the original Shuanglu sub district office in 1996, with an area of 10.8 square kilometers and a population of 13258 (in 2010). It has five communities including Shuanglong East Road, LongTanYuan, lianerpo, Taiping and Longxing.
