Wudaoying Township

The five road village, belonging to Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Chengde City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County. It is adjacent to the big town, East and Southeast, southwest and Tang River Township. The west is connected with the Bai Cao Town, Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou. The North is connected with the mountain village, northeast border with the local towns, the area is 363.69 square kilometers, and as of the end of 2018, the registered residence population is 9352.

In 1914, it was the Second District of Fengning County. In May 1956, wudaoying and wangzhong were built in Jinjing. In July 1961, wudaoying commune was established. In June 1984, the commune was abolished and wudaoying township was built. In January 1989, dengzhezi township was incorporated. As of June 2020, wudaoying township has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages.

Historical evolution

In 1914, it was the Second District of Fengning County.

In October 1945, it belonged to jiudaogou District of xifengning county.

In May 1956, wudaoying and wangzhong were built in Jinjing.

In May 1958, Wang Zhongxiang was abolished and merged into wudaoying township; in September of the same year, wudaoying township was abolished and merged into Dage commune.

In July 1961, wudaoying commune was established.

In June 1984, the commune was abolished and wudaoying township was built.

In January 1989, dengzhezi township was incorporated.
