Zhaiya Township

Zhaiya township is located in the northeast of Fengshan County, 53 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Changjiang township of Donglan County in the East, Changzhou Township in the south, Lintong Township in the West and Donglan Jingu Township in the north.

The Township People's government is located in liulangtun, zhaiya village. The township has 11 village offices, 162 villager groups and 290 natural villages, including zhaiya, pingya, banye, Longmei, Siwu, Banlong, Bandong, Dongfeng, Lalong, Nonghuai and laying.

The land area is 170 square kilometers. Zhaiya township is low-lying, fertile soil, warm and humid climate. There are 691 hectares of cultivated land in the township, including 280 hectares of paddy field and 410 hectares of dry land. The annual grain planting area is 1652 hectares, the total output is 3650 tons, the economic crop planting area is 235 hectares, and the farmers have 266 kilograms of grain per capita. There are 5860 large livestock, 20216 live pigs and 7747 slaughter pigs. The total meat output is 636 tons. 15400 kg of improved hybrid rice and 3200 kg of improved corn were popularized in the township. The coverage rate of improved varieties reached more than 95%, achieving stable and high yield.

social undertakings

In this year, we will build 1250 meters of anti-seepage works for the main water conservancy channel of zhaiya village, 280 meters for the LIULANG branch channel of zhaiya village and 3000 meters for the water conservancy channel of pingya nassui village; build 500 underground water tanks; build 1256 biogas digesters; and complete 134 hectares of conversion of farmland to forest and 53 hectares of afforestation on barren hills. Invest 400000 yuan to complete the construction of laying highway and bridge and put it into use after acceptance. Completed the subgrade works of the section from laying to bachou township of Donglan, the section from zhaiya to Fengshan of the fourth grade sand road of Changjiang township of Donglan, and the 14km oil road from zhaiya to Changzhou to Tongxiang. Complete the rural power grid transformation and the installation and debugging of radio and television receiving station, and realize the power supply and radio and television in every village. Six new villager committee office buildings, township family planning service centers, health centers, publicity and culture stations, homes for the aged, judicial offices, farmers' markets and a number of primary and secondary school buildings were built. The total investment in fixed assets of the whole society was 12.9 million yuan.

All social undertakings have developed in an all-round way. In 2003, the enrollment rate of school-age children in the township was 99.6%, the enrollment rate of primary school students was 93.2%, and the enrollment rate of junior high school graduates was 38%; the family planning rate was 91%, 1.5 percentage points higher than that of the previous year, and the villagers' Autonomy of low fertility and family planning was consolidated.

The construction of democracy, the legal system and spiritual civilization has been constantly advancing. We carried out comprehensive improvement activities of social security, focused on the hot and difficult issues affecting the overall development and stability, and carried out the activity of creating "safe and civilized village households". Zhaiya middle school in zhaiya township is built by the compulsory education project in poverty-stricken areas, the Dongba Fengda battle project, and the donation project of Guangxi sports school. It is the most beautiful school in all the townships in the county, but all of them are aid projects. It can be seen from this that the most beautiful schools in Fengshan, a poverty-stricken county in China, are all built by aid projects. Without free aid, Fengshan's education will lag far behind. Pingya Village Primary School in zhaiya township is built by the world bank loan project of poverty alleviation in Southwest China. There are 213 students and 10 teachers, including 4 substitute teachers. There are preschool classes and Grades 1-6. There was only one single teaching building. At the beginning, it was also a stadium without walls, gates and hard ground. For the purpose of the "nine-year universal education" acceptance, the County Education Bureau arranged a construction fund of 8000 yuan, and the school borrowed more than 30000 yuan from units and individuals. Finally, the fences, gates and hard ground were built.

History and culture

In zhaiya village, there are eight big bronze drums left over from Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty. The surface and body of the drum are cloud pattern, thunder pattern and permanent pattern. There are four three-dimensional frogs on the edge of the drum face and on the chest of the drum respectively. The unique decorative bronze drum is rare in Guangxi, which has high historical research value.
