Naboo town

NaBu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Bobai County, Yulin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Bobai County, adjacent to Changshan town of Lianjiang, Guangdong Province in the southeast. The people's Government of NaBu town is located in NaBu fair, 85 kilometers away from the county by Yingqiao town.

NaBu town has four administrative villages, namely Mingliu, NaBu, Shuangzhu and Shimao, with a total area of 63.29 square kilometers and a total population of 22000 in 2008, including 12699 males, 9661 females and 713 non-agricultural population. At the end of 2012, the total population was 42000. In 2017, there were 59000 non-agricultural population and 2000 non-agricultural population. The whole town is a pure Hakka town.

History of construction

In the early days of liberation, it was divided into 12 districts (NaBu District). NaBu township was established in 1958, NaBu commune was established in August of the same year, NaBu township was restored in July 1984, Shapi township was established in 1986, Dadong township was established in July 1989, and township was changed into town in November 1993.

NaBu town is high in the West and low in the East. It is a hilly area. The main mountain ranges from guangzhang (684 meters above sea level) to nanrongzhang (240 meters above sea level).

The main rivers in NaBu town are NaBu River and Qingshan River, which all flow into Laohutou reservoir. NaBu river is the East source of Najiao River, and Qingshan river is the West source of Najiao river.

In 2007, NaBu town achieved a total industrial and agricultural output value of 158.35 million yuan, including 35.78 million yuan of industrial output value, 122.57 million yuan of agricultural output value, 2.35 million yuan of financial revenue and 3252 yuan of per capita net income of farmers. Rice is the main food crop.

In recent years, NaBu town has vigorously developed the forestry and fruit industry, with more than 3000 mu of red heart orange and more than 40000 mu of Fast-growing Eucalyptus.
