Sanlong town
Sanlong town is subordinate to Lingshan County, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in the Midwest of Lingshan County, 35 km away from the county. It borders Luwu town and bolao town in the south, shaping town and Taiping Town in the west, Wuli Town and Tanwei town in the East, Nalong town and Yandun town in the north.
Sanlong town has a total area of 141.15 square kilometers. At the end of 2013, it has one community, 17 administrative villages and a total population of 69004 (2017). In 2013, the town achieved a total agricultural output value of 279 million yuan and a total industrial output value of 1.2 billion yuan.
Sanlong town is located in hilly area, which belongs to south subtropical monsoon climate, with long summer and short winter, abundant rainfall, sufficient light, warm climate and abundant sugarcane. It is the sugar cane production base of Qinzhou City.
Historical evolution
It is said that in the past, three farmers built houses for business. Later, the business flourished and developed into a Polder, so it was named "Sanlong polder". Before liberation, it was under the jurisdiction of 11 districts of Qin county. In 1949, it belonged to the Fourth District of Lingshan County. In 1951, it belonged to the seventh district. In 1957, it was renamed Sanlong township. It was called Sanlong commune in 1958. In September 1984, the people's commune was abolished, the township system was restored, and Sanlong township was established. In 1994, Sanlong township was renamed Sanlong town.

Before liberation, there were only three alleys in sanlongwei, 4-6 meters wide and 1080 meters long. The roads were paved with gravel and the houses were mostly brick and tile bungalows. Before liberation, education in Sanlong area was relatively backward, with only primary schools and no secondary schools. Sanlong middle school was established in 1968, with 20 classes in junior middle school, 1500 students and 82 teaching staff. Sanlong agricultural middle school was established in 1972, with two high school classes, 106 students and 213 teaching staff. In 1986, the enrollment rate, popularization rate, consolidation rate and graduation rate of primary education in the town all met the requirements of the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. From 1993 to 1997, 19 reinforced concrete teaching buildings and 4 dormitory buildings were newly built, expanded and continued in the town, with a total area of 21927 square meters and an investment of 7.48 million yuan. In the Qing Dynasty, the post road from Lingcheng to Luwu passed through Sanlong. The tanxu Luwu highway, built in 1931, passed through Sanlong.
