Hualan town
Hualan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Shangsi County, Fangchenggang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Shangsi County, adjacent to jiaoanxiang in the East, Nanping and Pingfu in the west, Jiangle village in Nanping in the South and Miao Town in the north. The administrative area of the town is 146.70 square kilometers.
In 1933, Hualan township was established, belonging to Shangsi county. In 1962, Hualan commune was abolished and merged into Pingfu district. In July 1987, Hualan township was set up from Pingfu township. In late 2018, 12058 households registered residence in Hualong Town. As of June 2020, Hualan town has six administrative villages. The town people's government is stationed in Lanwei.
At the end of 2011, the balance of various deposits in Hualan town was 60 million yuan, and the per capita savings was 5000 yuan. In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in Hualan Town, including one industrial enterprise above Designated Size and two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1933, Hualan township was established, belonging to Shangsi county.
In 1949, it was changed into hualangong District, belonging to the third district of Shangsi county (Pingfu District).
In 1959, it was changed into Hualan commune, with jurisdiction over Huacheng, Junren, De'an and Hualan.
In 1962, Hualan commune was abolished and merged into Pingfu district.
In 1966, it belonged to Pingfu commune.
In October 1984, it belongs to Pingfu township.
In July 1987, Hualan township was set up from Pingfu township.

As of June 2020, Hualan town has six administrative villages: Hualan village, Junren village, Nayan village, De'an village, Huacheng village and Jiaobao village. The town people's government is stationed in Lanwei.

Industry
Hualan Guihua rosin factory in Hualan town processes 4000 tons of rosin every year, with an annual output of more than 3000 tons of rosin and profits and taxes of more than 2 million yuan. It is the second largest rosin processing factory in Shangsi county.

Transportation
The highway from Shangsi county to Dongxing City runs through the center of Hualan town. All the six administrative villages have realized the road connection. There are 24 natural electricity connected gravel roads and 3 natural electricity connected cement roads.
History and culture
Hualan town was a "Nalan" Township before 1943. In 1943, the township head Huang Lansheng changed his name to "Hualan" because the word "Na" in "Nalan" was homonymous with the word "Na" in "Zhuo Na".
