Dongzhong town

Dongzhong town is an important border town in Southwest Guangxi. Dongzhong port is a national second-class port, only one river away from pingliao County, Vietnam. It is located at the westernmost end of Fangcheng District, Fangchenggang City, 124 kilometers away from the urban area.

Location context

Dongzhong town is adjacent to nariang town in the East, mountains and rivers in Vietnam in the southwest, Ningming County and Shangsi County in the north. It is the junction of pingliao County in Guangning province of Vietnam, Ningming County, Shangsi county and Fangcheng District in Guangxi, namely, the junction of the two provinces and four counties (districts). With a total area of 236.3 square kilometers, it has 19 villages and 1 Community under its jurisdiction, with a total population of 28768 people, 79% of whom are ethnic minorities. It is a minority town inhabited by Han, Zhuang, Yao, Dong, and Jing ethnic groups. The border line is 43.8 km. The highway along the border is 35.5 km through Dongzhong town. Dongzhong hot spring resort is located in bandian street, Dongzhong Town, covering an area of 18 mu, with a planned total investment of 15 million yuan.
