Xiyao town

Xiyao town is located in the west of the south of Ningnan County, covering an area of 47.73 square kilometers, including 538 hectares of cultivated land. The town government is located in Laluo village. The town governs four administrative villages, namely reservoir village, Dashuigou village, bakou village and Laluo village, and 28 villager groups. 4875 (2017). There are 16 kilometers of provincial roads, 248 kilometers of village roads, 4 villages open to traffic and 4 villages with mobile phones.

On December 13, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in six counties (cities), including Xichang City (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2019] No. 18): Hongxing township was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Xiyao Town, and the people's Government of Xiyao town was stationed at No. 2, layin street.
