Xiuren town

Xiuren Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Lipu City, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Lipu City, between Guilin and Liuzhou, bordering Longhuai Township in the East, Qingshan town and Chacheng town in the north, and Sanjiang township of Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County in the South and West, with a total area of 109 square kilometers. Jianling county was set up in the first year of Wu Ganlu (265) of the Three Kingdoms when SUN Hao became emperor. In 1984, the commune was changed into a town. In 2018, the total population of xiuren town is 37507, and the agricultural population is about 28000, including Zhuang, Yao, Miao and other ethnic minorities. By the end of 2019, xiuren town has one community and nine administrative villages, and the town government is located at No. 26, Xiaokang West Road, Hengshui village.

History of construction

Jianling county was set up in the first year of Wu Ganlu (265) of the Three Kingdoms when SUN Hao became emperor.

In 823, it was renamed xiuren county,

In 1071, xiuren county was removed and transferred to Lipu County.

In the first year of Yuanfeng in Song Dynasty (1078), xiuren county was restored again, and the system was established along the border.

In August 1951, the county was withdrawn, and most of them were incorporated into Lipu County, which was divided into eight districts.

In 1955, it was renamed xiuren district.

In 1958, it was renamed xiuren commune.

In 1962, it was renamed xiuren district.
