Liuzhu town

Liuzhu town is located in the west of Xinxing County, 15 kilometers away from the county. Sanmao railway and provincial highway S113 run through the town, with a total area of 101.8 square kilometers, 8165 mu of cultivated land, 124016 mu of forest land, including 34312 mu of ecological public welfare forest. By the end of 2017, there were 14529 permanent residents. It has jurisdiction over eight village committees and one neighborhood committee. There are more than 10 upstream and downstream industrial projects in the town, with an annual output value of more than 1 billion yuan and an annual tax profit of nearly 100 million yuan. In addition, since the establishment of the agricultural industrialization mode of "cooperative + base + farmer", the bamboo shoot industry in Liuzhu town has developed rapidly and healthily. The main products of the cooperative are fresh bamboo shoots, pickled bamboo shoots, pickled bamboo shoots, dried bamboo shoots and other edible bamboo shoots, which are exported to the Pearl River Delta region.
