Sanpai town

Sanpai town is located in the south of Liannan County in Guangdong Province, 7 kilometers away from the county seat, which is traversed by 107 National Highway and 1955 provincial highway. The traffic is very convenient. With a total area of 149.57 square kilometers (2017), it has jurisdiction over 10 village committees including Shanxi village, dongmang village, Lianshui village, sanpai village and niutouling village, with an agricultural population of 22060. It is an agricultural town inhabited by Paiyao people. Located in a typical limestone area, the town is rich in soybeans, peanuts, corn, tobacco leaves, Camellia oleifera, etc. it is one of the main oil bases in Liannan.

In recent years, sanpai town has vigorously promoted improved varieties and methods, and actively developed off-season vegetables and other "three high" agriculture. In 1998, the project of removing stones from dunlong cave was completed with an area of 500 mu, forming a sightseeing agriculture. It has also become a base for fruits and medicinal materials.

On January 9, 2019, sanpai town was selected as the "hometown of Chinese folk culture and art" in 2018-2020 by virtue of Yao people's song playing hall.
