Chiguang town

Chiguang town is a town under the jurisdiction of Longchuan County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province. The original name is Chigang, which means red hill. Therefore, the soil is red and vermilion soil. In 1680, chigangwei was opened in the 59th year of Kangxi, and it was renamed Chiguang after 1949. Chiguang town is located in the middle of Longchuan County, 115'31 "E and 24'32" n, 47 km away from the county. Chiguang has a long history. In ancient times, the center of Diji was in Wuhe (now submerged by Fengshuba reservoir).
