Haoyi Town, subordinate to Zijin County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, is located in the southwest of Zijin County, adjacent to Fengan and Shangyi towns in the East, Guzhu town in the north, and Hengli Town, Huicheng District, Huizhou City in the southwest. It is 68 kilometers away from Zijin County. The provincial road is wide and passes through the territory, covering an area of 86.72 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 18850 households registered residence in the town. As of June 2020, Haoyi town has one community and eight administrative villages.
In 2014, the GDP of Haoyi town was 745 million yuan, 10.2% higher than that of 2013, including 620 million yuan of industrial output value, 10.7% higher than that of 2013; 110 million yuan of agricultural output value, 6% higher than that of 2013; 15 million yuan of tertiary industry output value, 3% higher than that of 2013; 4.47 million yuan of tax revenue, 27% higher than that of 2013, including 2.6 million yuan of national tax, 1.84 million yuan of local tax, 30000 yuan of deed tax; 6754 yuan of rural per capita net income, 10% higher than that of 2013.

The origin of place names
Haoyi, originally called Xiayi, got its name from its location in the lower reaches of Shangyi river.

Fengzhen Huanggong temple is located in Xiaogu village, Haoyi Town, Zijin County. Rongfengdi was built in Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in 1985 and 2004. Sit north and south. There are three rooms with two entrances, a front gate tower, two horizontal rooms, and a half moon shaped pond in front of Yuping. The total width is 29.5 meters, the total depth is 22.5 meters, and the building covers an area of 663.75 square meters. Gable purlin brick structure. The gate is three rooms wide.
