overview
There are mainly 20 revolutionary sites and memorial buildings in the Soviet towns, such as the former site of the Soviet government in Zijin County (red house), the site of "blood field", the monument of revolutionary martyrs in the Soviet Area, and the memorial hall of revolutionary martyrs in the Soviet area.
Former site of Soviet government in Zijin County
The former site of the Soviet government in Zijin County, also known as the "red house", is just one way away from the "Xuetian" memorial square. It is a two-story quadrangle building with a two-way civil structure. It was originally a granary built by the big landlord Huang Zhenyun in the late Qing Dynasty, called "Huzi granary". In March 1923, the peasant association of paozi township was established, and the "huzicang" was used by the peasant association. In July of the same year, the general farmers association of Zijin County worked here after its establishment. Due to the crazy counterattack of the Kuomintang army and the landlord militia, the people's Government of Zijin County transferred to the Soviet area to establish a rural revolutionary base and set up the Soviet government of Zijin County, which also worked here. Zhou Enlai, Xu Qianxiang, Peng Pai and other proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation once directed the revolutionary movement here.
