Taimei town

Taimei town is located in the east of Boluo County, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, with Dongjiang in the East, Xiangtou Mountain in the west, Xiaojinkou town in Huicheng District in the south, and Yangcun and Botang towns in Boluo County in the north. The total area of the town is 179.44 square kilometers (2017), with 34652 people (2017). The traffic condition of the town is good and the tourism resources are rich. The infrastructure is perfect.

Taimei town is 25 km away from Huizhou City and 25 km away from BOLUO county. It is in Huizhou half-hour life circle, 86 km away from Shenzhen, 70 km away from Dongguan and 110 km away from Guangzhou. Beijing Kowloon Railway, 205 National Road (Jinlong Avenue), Huihe Expressway (Huizhou to Heyuan), Lutai bridge under construction, Pearl River Delta Intercity light rail under planning and construction, and Longda Expressway (Longmen County to Dayawan port) pass through the town, all of which have stations and exits in Taimei. Xiangtou Mountain is located in the northeast of Boluo county. It spans 60 kilometers from east to west and more than 30 kilometers from north to south. Its highest peak is maoershuang, with an altitude of 1100 meters. It belongs to granite geological structure. Xiangtou Mountain was formed in Cretaceous igneous rock, with towering cliff, majestic mountains, it is a national forest reserve. There are 165 steep mountains in the area, and the main peak, Xieyan top, is 1024 meters above sea level.

The bedrock of the mountain forms the unique "stone egg" landscape of granite, with wonderful stacking and lifelike images, all over the hillside, peak and riverbed. There are many stone scenes on the mountain, such as elephant head stone, big man rock, little man rock, a-poji, stone fairy peach, toad falling into the river, tortoise rising into the water, etc.
