Jiangchuan town

Jiangchuan town is located in the south of Fengkai County, adjacent to Xijiang, facing Jiangkou street across the river. It is 23 kilometers from the county by land. It is connected with hepingfeng town in the South and Tangyuan village in Longhu town in Wuzhou City, Guangxi Province in the northeast. It has seven village committees, namely Jieshou, Yaotang, Xinxing, Jiangshan, Yufeng, Xintai and Wuhe, and one neighborhood committee in doukeng community. The total area of the town is 120.08 square kilometers, belonging to hilly and mountainous areas. The forestry land area is 138300 mu, including 123100 mu of mountain forest, mainly planted with pine, fir, tall bamboo, firewood forest, etc., with 10300 mu of cultivated land and 7900 mu of paddy field. The total population of the town was 12043 (2017).

Economic situation

1. Vigorously develop suburban vegetable bases, set up 500 mu vegetable demonstration sites in Xinxing village, covering an area of 2500 mu. 2. In the villages along the river, the total area of planting high bamboo is more than 1500 mu, with an annual output of more than 350000 high bamboo and an output value of more than 600000 yuan. 3. The planting area of sugarcane in the town is 850 mu. 4. Develop tea production in Jiangchuan and set up 150 mu tea demonstration sites in Xintai.

Water supply: a waterworks with daily water supply of 100000 cubic meters can meet the needs of street residents, schools and factories. 3.
