Jinli Town

Jinli town is located in the east of Gaoyao District, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province (Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao big bay district). It is an important gateway for Zhaoqing City to connect with the core area of Pearl River Delta, the core area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao big bay district, and the integration of Guangdong and Foshan.

Jinli town faces Sanshui District and Nanhai District of Foshan City across the river in the East, Gaoming District of Foshan City in the south, Duanzhou District of Zhaoqing City in the west, Dinghu District in the north, 45 km from Guangzhou City and 35 km from Zhaoqing City.

With a total area of 152.38 square kilometers (2017), Jinli has 19 village committees, 109 natural villages and 13 community neighborhood committees. Jinli town is a key town in China, a famous town for producing (Purchasing) fine architectural hardware products in China, a central town in Guangdong Province, a demonstration zone for upgrading hardware industry cluster in Guangdong Province, a pilot town for deepening and expanding the reform of administrative system and management in economically developed towns in Guangdong Province, a pilot town for strengthening the economy in Zhaoqing City, and a pilot town for professional technology innovation. Guangkun Expressway (g80) and G324 National Road (former s362 provincial road) run through the whole area. The golden waterway of Xijiang River flows through the whole town. It is one of the two major sub centers (Jinli town and Lubu town) in Gaoyao District of Zhaoqing City.

Jinli town is located in the forefront of East Gaoyao District of Zhaoqing City (Pearl River Delta region). Separated from Sanshui District of Foshan City, the third largest city in Guangdong Province, it has a very advantageous geographical location.

Guangzhou Kunming Expressway (g80), G324 National Highway (the original s362 provincial highway), Shuangjin highway and other major traffic arteries run through Jinli town. All local roads in the town are hard bottomed, forming a traffic network extending in all directions. The opening of Guangzhou Kunming Expressway (g80) has further accelerated the communication between Jinli town and western Guangdong, even southwest China and the core area of Pearl River Delta.

   Zhaoqing City is operated by jinlihaikou water transportation company, and Gaoyao Marine Department is responsible for water traffic safety management. The main passenger flow objects are migrant workers and motorcycles, with about 1000 passengers (including motorcycles) per day.

   Jinli operation area is located about 1300m upstream of Jinma Bridge in Zhaoqing. The shoreline is 200m above xiaozhouxu and 1200m below Jinli sluice, with a length of 1000m. The reserved shoreline is 200m above Dukou and 1200m below Jinli sluice, with a length of 2200m. The right bank of Xijiang waterway is backed by Jintao industrial base. In addition to serving Jintao industrial base, the operation area will also serve the economic development of Gaoyao District, especially the South Bank of Xijiang River. The water area conditions are good, deep water and nearshore, and the width of water area is more than 600m, which can meet the requirements of berthing and turning around of 3000 ton seagoing ships.
