Guangdong Xingfu farm

Guangdong Xingfu farm is located in the central and southern part of Leizhou Peninsula. National Highway 207, Guangdong Hainan railway and zhanxu Expressway all pass through the farm, so the transportation is very convenient. Founded in 1952, the farm mainly grows rubber, sugarcane, sisal and other three subtropical economic crops. At present, the total land area is more than 120000 Mu and the total population is more than 5100, including 1350 employees and 1330 retired employees.

Historical evolution

In 1952, Xingfu farm was established on the red soil of Leizhou Peninsula, under the West Guangdong Reclamation Bureau and named as "state-owned Xingfu reclamation farm". At the beginning of 1955, South China Reclamation Bureau adjusted again and implemented enterprise management. In January 1957, with the approval of the Ministry of land reclamation, it was renamed "state-owned happy farm". In April 1969, it was reorganized into the fifth regiment of the seventh division of the production and Construction Corps of the Guangzhou Military Region of the Chinese people's Liberation Army, and implemented militarized management. In October 1974, the system of land reclamation was restored and renamed as "state owned happy farm of Guangdong Province", which is still in use today.
