Lianzhou Town, belonging to Doumen District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, is located in the northwest of Doumen district. It faces Banfu town of Zhongshan City across the river in the East and Xinhui Gujing town and huhezhou town of Jiangmen in the northwest. The total area is 86.6 square kilometers. At the end of 2018, there were 43921 registered residence households in Lian Zhou. As of June 2020, Lianzhou town has a total of 3 communities and 27 administrative villages.

In 2007, Lianzhou town cultural station was rated as a special cultural station of Guangdong Province. In 2008, Jinlong, Yinlong and dese of Lianzhou town were listed as the first batch of intangible heritage in Zhuhai. In 2009, Lianzhou town won the first place in Zhuhai primary school students' track and field games, the first place in Zhuhai primary and secondary school students' swimming championship, the first place in Zhuhai township basketball competition, and Lianzhou Health Center won the advanced unit of Zhuhai civilization. On December 24, 2019, Lianzhou town was selected into the list of national rural governance demonstration towns. In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Lianzhou town as a national health township for the period of 2017-2019.
