Dongxiaokou area
Dongxiaokou is a town (area) under the jurisdiction of Changping District, Beijing, located in the southeast of the District, 8 kilometers away from the Asian Games Village. The Office (town government) is located at No. 386, Zhongtan village. Beijing Baotou railway and Litang highway meet here.

In 1958, changwan county was divided into Haidian District.
In 1959, it was transferred to Changping County and merged with Shahe, Beijiao farm and Beiqijia to form Shahe commune,
Dongxiaokou commune was established in 1961,
In 1983, it was changed to xiaodongkou township.
In 1996, it covers an area of 15.5 square kilometers and has a population of 8000. It governs nine administrative villages: Dongxiaokou village, Zhongtan village, chenjiaying village, Taipingzhuang village, Hejia village, Lujia village, DanJia village, Luzhuang village and Dianshang village.
In December 1997, Dongxiaokou township was abolished and Dongxiaokou town was established.
In 1999, Huoying township was abolished and merged into Dongxiaokou town.
At the end of 2002, the town government was stationed in Zhongtan village, with an area of 30.04 square kilometers and a population of 15600. The postcode is 102209. It has jurisdiction over 8 communities, including Dongchen community, taipingjiayuan, jiayunyuan, hualongyuan Nanli, hualongyuan North District, Tiantongyuan community, tiantongxiyuan District 1, tiantongxiyuan District 2, Shangpo, xiaoxinzhuang, maliandian, Taipingzhuang, Zhongtan, Dongxiaokou, langezhuang, banjieta, Lucun Chenying, Dianshang, Dancun, Hecun, Liangzhuang, Huoying and Weiyao are 16 administrative villages.
At the end of 2006, Dongxiaokou district covers an area of 32.2 square kilometers, with a population of 230000, and has jurisdiction over 31 communities and 16 administrative villages.
In 2008, it has jurisdiction over 35 communities and 16 administrative villages. In 2011, it has jurisdiction over 40 communities and 16 administrative villages.
In 2010, there were 359415 permanent residents.
On December 31, 2012, Dongxiaokou district was officially "divided into four", and three sub district offices of Tiantongyuan North Street, Tiantongyuan South Street and Huoying street were officially established. Tiantongyuan North sub district office is temporarily located at No. 69, Taipingzhuang North Street. It extends to North Qijia in the East, to the boundary between Zhongtan village and Taipingzhuang village in the west, to Taipingzhuang middle street in the south, and to the boundary of East Sanqi village in North Qijia in the north. Tiantongyuan South sub district office is temporarily located at No. 82, Beisan street, Zhongtan village. It covers 15 communities and 1 Village (Chenying Village) in the East, East Xiaokou village boundary of Chenying village in the west, Chaoyang District boundary of Haidian in the South and Taipingzhuang middle street in the north. Huoying sub district office is temporarily located at 207 Huangping road. It extends to Huoying village boundary in the East, Huilongguan community in the west, Huoying langezhuang village boundary in the South and Huinan North Road in the north.
