Xinbaoan Town, belonging to Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Huailai County, bordering dongbali Township in the East, dahuangzhuang town in the south, xibali town in the west, Xuanhua District in the north, 10.5km away from the people's Government of Huailai County, with a total area of 66.86km2.

In the early Republic of China, xinbao'an town belonged to the third district of Huailai County; in May 1984, it was changed from xinbao'an commune to xinbao'an town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in new security town was 22651. As of June 2020, xinbaoan town has one community and 23 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Minzhu street village.

History of construction

In the early Republic of China, it was the third district of Huailai County. In September 1945, new Baoan town was established.

In April 1958, new Baoan town was changed into new Baoan commune.

In May 1984, xinbao'an commune was changed into xinbao'an town.

In April 1996, Babaoshan township was merged into xinbaoan town.
