Culture

Bahe guild hall, formerly known as Qionghua guild hall, was set up in Foshan by Cantonese opera artists. The original site was not in Enning road. In 1889, some artists bought land in Huangsha to rebuild the guild hall, which was called Bahe guild hall. In 1937, the former site of Huangsha was bombed by the Japanese army. In 1946, the museum was moved to Enning road. At that time, Guan Dexing, Xue juexian and Ma Shizeng were the principal and vice presidents. Every year, countless Cantonese opera artists or fans come here from all over the world to seek their roots. They are all from the "Bahe children" here. Zhan Tianyou Memorial Hall Zhan Tianyou was born in shierfu, Xiguan, Guangzhou. Due to the disrepair of his former residence, the relevant departments reconstructed the Zhan Tianyou Memorial Hall in situ according to its original appearance.
