Wanmin township is located in the northwest of Yongshun County, 80 kilometers away from the county seat. It is a provincial nature reserve. The total land area is 139.3 square kilometers (2017), with 12170 mu of arable land, including 7140 mu of paddy fields. It has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages, 69 villager groups and 12007 people (in 2017). The territory is rich in mineral resources, including beech, Taxus and other national first-class protected plants.
