Zejia town

Zejia town is located in the southwest of Yongshun County, 27 kilometers away from the county seat. National Highway 209 passes through the town, 22 kilometers away from Baojing city and 22 kilometers away from Yongshun city. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Zejia area. The total area is 154.13 square kilometers (2017), with 118929 mu of forest land and 9621 mu of cultivated land, including 6100 mu of paddy field and 3521 mu of dry land. It has jurisdiction over 6 villages, 2 neighborhood committees and 65 Village (neighborhood) groups, with a total population of 15248 (2017), belonging to karst arid area.

The town is rich in resources, including 200000 mu of forestry resources, 5000 mu of oil chestnut, 4000 mu of Camellia oleifera, 3000 mu of citrus, 2800 mu of flue-cured tobacco, 600 mu of hairless nectarine and 700 mu of watermelon. At present, the private economy has become half of the town's economy. Driven by key enterprises such as Lanhu spice factory and Zhengfu Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd., the total industrial output value has reached more than 60 million yuan, an increase of 8%. The total retail sales of social consumer goods reached more than 7 million yuan, an increase of 7%, laying a foundation for sustainable economic development in the future.
